Q) When I try to connect to Internet Native Banner (INB), I get an error "SSL handshake failed: X509CertChainInvalidErr". How do I fix this?
A) This error is can be fixed by downloading a new certificate database file and installing it. To do this:
On Windows:
- Download the certdb.txt file (right click and choose Save As or Save Target As)
- Save the file to your
"c:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator 1.1.8.16\lib\security\" directory (you may need to tell it to overwrite the file).
- Restart your web browser.
On a Macintosh:
- If you are trying to access INB on a Macintosh on campus, please contact the Technology Support? to have this problem fixed.
