Q) My web pages keep disappearing when I click on a link in another program. How can I fix this?

A) Choose your browser and follow the instructions listed below.

In Internet Explorer, use the following steps:

  • Click on Tools
  • Click on Internet Options
  • Click on Advanced tab
  • Locate "Browsing" section
  • Find "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" and uncheck it
  • Click on OK

In Firefox 1.5 (or newer), use the following steps:

  • Click on Tools
  • Click on Options
  • Click on Tabs
  • In the first section (Open links from other applications in:), change it from "the most recent tab/window"
  • Click OK

In Firefox (older versions), use the following steps:

  • Click on Tools
  • Click on Options
  • Clcik on Advanced
  • Click on Tabbed Browsing and change it from "the most recent tab/window"
