Q) My web pages keep disappearing when I click on a link in another program. How can I fix this?
A) Choose your browser and follow the instructions listed below.
In Internet Explorer, use the following steps:
- Click on Tools
- Click on Internet Options
- Click on Advanced tab
- Locate "Browsing" section
- Find "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" and uncheck it
- Click on OK
In Firefox 1.5 (or newer), use the following steps:
- Click on Tools
- Click on Options
- Click on Tabs
- In the first section (Open links from other applications in:), change it from "the most recent tab/window"
- Click OK
In Firefox (older versions), use the following steps:
- Click on Tools
- Click on Options
- Clcik on Advanced
- Click on Tabbed Browsing and change it from "the most recent tab/window"
